I find it hard to identify myself as an artist. I have worked in many mediums over the years mostly to be disappointed and frustrated. Every so often I produce something that even I have to step back and say to myself…Damn! Where did that come from. I, along with my wife Kathy own and operate the Permanent Collection and Lasting Impressions Tattoo and Body Piercing shops spread around Iowa. We also own Permanent Collection Gallery Art in Fort Dodge Iowa. I see the artistic value in almost everything, from the simple to the complex. Whether or not I’m an artist is irrelevant. If what I do, or what I put forth for others deepens their senses or broadens their perspective. I’m satisfied.
