At Clearfork Stoneworks you will find rustic tables made by John from clay, stone, glass, metal, and reclaimed wood. Materials are gathered from the de-construction of mid to late nineteenth century homes and farm buildings here in Northeast Iowa and often include iron wheels and other metal parts from early horse drawn farm implements. Table tops are then surfaced with inlaid stone and/or glass or clay mosaics that are designed and hand cut and tooled here at Clearfork Stoneworks. John’s studio is open year round, by appointment, for direct sales and for commission work.
