I am from Taiwan and grew up in a very remote fishing village. My major was Chinese Literature. Most of Chinese intellectuals write Chinese calligraphy and do a little bit of Chinese paintings. May be that is the reason I love to draw and paint so much. I am a self-taught artist and have done watercolor paintings for almost 10 years. I have won three art prizes from Iowa City Library and got one entry from Water Color West Society. To draw and paint are the main energy for my mind.
